Privacy Policy

What we collect

Account data: email, password (hashed by our authentication provider, Supabase), company name, trade, and service ZIP codes you provide during onboarding. Billing data: handled entirely by Stripe — we never store card numbers. Marketing data: if you request a sample list we store your email, when you asked, and whether you unsubscribed. Usage data: if analytics are enabled we use a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics service (Plausible) that does not track you across sites.

Public-records data about property owners

The Service processes public government records: building permits published by the City of Seattle and parcel/taxpayer records published by King County. This data concerns property ownership, not our website visitors, and remains available from the originating agencies regardless of PermitWire. Property owners who wish to have their information suppressed from our deliveries may contact us; see the Responsible Outreach page.

How we use data

To operate the Service: authentication, delivering the lists you subscribed to, sending transactional and (with consent) marketing email, billing, and abuse prevention. We do not sell personal information about our users or visitors.

Email

Every marketing email we send includes a working unsubscribe link and our physical address. Transactional email (receipts, password resets, the lists you paid for) continues while your account is active.

Sharing

Service providers only, under contract: Supabase (database/auth), Stripe (payments), Resend (email delivery), Lob (print/mail fulfillment and address verification for Concierge subscribers), Vercel and Fly.io (hosting), Sentry (error monitoring). We disclose data if legally compelled.

Retention and deletion

Account data is retained while your account exists and deleted on request after closure, except records we must keep for tax and accounting. Sample-request emails are retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.

Your rights

You may access, correct, export, or delete your personal information by contacting us. Washington residents may have additional rights under Washington law, including the My Health My Data Act (we do not collect health data) and the Washington Privacy Act as applicable.

Changes

We will post changes here and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
